What does High Performance Green mean to you? To our race teams, drivers and crews, it means not compromising performance for safety, cost or time. For years, parts washing and spot cleaning has been done a certain way. Does that mean it’s right? No. But it’s what these high performance crews are used to. We knew that to succeed in motorsports, we would have to provide a system that cleaned better and more efficient first, and provided a safer alternative to harsh toxic chemicals second. Green1 Racing Grade does just that. The Green1 team spent the entirety of 2011 testing on the NHRA circuit. If G1 Racing Grade couldn’t perform against 70 weight synthetic oil, or nitro fuel explosions, we didn’t want to use it in motorsports at all. Race after race, team after team, Green1 received the highest praise! From flash cleaning of 1000° clutches to exploded oil pans, there wasn’t a job Green1 parts washers and spray bottles couldn’t tackle.If 2011 was a proving year, 2012 is our “show off” year. We still supply many NHRA teams with G1 Racing Grade, but we have also diversified to NASCAR, Indycar, MotoGP and Formula1 as well. For the 2012 season, starting with the Indy 500, Green1 has been a sponsor of Bryan Herta Autosport’s #98 Alex Taglaini driven Indycar, as well as Sarah Fisher Hartman’s #67 Josef Newgarden driven Indycar. We work with Front Row Motorsports on the NASCAR side, and Colin Edwards in MotoGP. Formula1 plans are already in the works for later this year.
